Well done on this product [Stone Frixion Fire], I really enjoyed reading it, and found some nice ideas. Amongst other things I really liked the matchbook effect, and the prop production idea - especially with the rubber band. The tip on relocating the ink to another pen alone was worth the price of entry for me. So, many thanks - although I now can't stop thinking about possible ideas!
James N.On the [Stone Cold Magic DVD] effects, I pretty much liked them all. My favorite (and my wife's too) was little people. You sure threw me off...
Apurva S.If you are looking for a fresh dose of commercial, audience-tested card magic, look no further than Jeff Stone's Stone Cold Magic. There's plenty of useable card effects presented in a wonderfully friendly, casual and straightforward manner. My only criticism is that Jeff came up with the idea of using the Erdnase-Houdini Color Change as an invisible palm. It looks so darn good, I wish to heck I had thought of it!!
Jay Sankey... all of these tricks I could see myself performing for walk around, and for friends. All of it is very visual... the ace productions, and especially the shrinking card. It looks like trick photography!
Jesse FeinbergI just received and watched... Jeff Stone's DVD... It's all cards and it's all right!! Nice usuable effects that are fun and easy to do. Mr Stone's personality is bigger than his sizeable frame.
Jim SpinnatoI had the pleasure of watching Jeff's video. Being a novice myself with very little exposure to magic, Jeff's demonstration and instruction unlocked the mystery behind the magic for me. His detailed explanations helped me walk through each trick to be able to duplicate it. With the video and my own instruction, I am confident that I too can create the wonder that Jeff creates for his audiences. I am a professional speaker and these tricks will help me infuse my presentations with object lessons that drive home my points.
Clay NevesThis may be the single most important video production of our time. If every warlord, criminal and despot would watch and understand the message behind Jeff's magic, we would usher in an era of world peace and economic, social, and intellectual development heretofore unbeknownst to mankind.
Rufus (From the Future)I find that Jeff Stone is my favorite contributor [on Jay Sankey's Underground Jam]. He has great ideas, including a novel key routine with a killer vanish. His use of the film canister really got me thinking, and it's the thought-provoking ideas that make DVD's worthwhile to me, the sort of thinking that has you digging up props because an idea (or several) just occurred to you.
Darrin CookJust like Vernon said, a magician should be able to describe a magic effect in one sentence. Jeff takes that quote and delivers with most of the effects in the DVD.
Steve L.Jeff, Just a very brief email to tell you how much I love doing "Jacked Up". I like the way it is constructed, how it logically flows, the surprise ending...and best of all ending clean. I've done it on several people and they were speechless at the end. I've been looking for a color changing deck routine for a long time and never found one I liked, until this one came along. I love it.
Bob Lippert. . . when the wife of the event coordinator asked to see something special. I showed her “Ace Bandage” and literaly knocked her off her feet, she made me promise not to move and went and got her husband and a couple of friends and had me repeat the effect, once again to huge effect. The visuals on this effect are very pretty (thinking about doing it strictly to music) . . . [I'm] thinking of putting a card act together at $10,000 dollars a ticket and only doing your stuff, LOL. Love reading your stuff, even the stuff that is not my style, love the site and mostly I appreciate your offerings, thanks.
Richard DominguezI wanted to thank you for this phenomenal book. [793.8]
Mike KmiecRead moreI hope all is well with you. I bought 793.8 about a month ago and finally had the opportunity to read it late last week, finishing it in a few days.
I wanted to thank you for this phenomenal book. I tend to have the same focus as you when performing - on others. After all, they're taking the time (and potentially spending the money) to see me perform, so I can't betray what they've given. The…
I just want to say a few things about this book [793.8] ... GET IT, if you wish to really THINK about magic. It really is that good.

This is one of the best magic books I've read in years (and I've only had time to read half of it so far).
I must say, I am mainly a Bizarrist/Mentalist and don't "do cards" and even the card-related stuff has me thinking.
Again, just but it. Did I say I love…
I just thought I'd say thank you. I love your 793.8 book and decided to enter my societies entertainment competition with 'I need a hero.' I won! I had performed it a few times and was only really using the competition as another opportunity to iron out any issues but it worked well. Thought you would like to know.
Paul RaeI got the PDF and hard copy of your new book 793.8: Where is the Magic?. I absolutely love what I've read so far!

I haven't got into any of the effects yet, but I'm sure those will be awesome!
So, a modest request: I'm in no hurry for the hard copy and have been thoroughly enjoying…
